Varanasi, March 23 -- Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of the Jyotish Peeth formally on Monday announced, at the Shri Vidyamath, the formation of the ''Shankaracharya Chaturangini Sena''-an army dedicated to the protection of Mother Cow, Brahmins, and other Sanatani symbols, as well as to the assistance of vulnerable Sanatanis.
Shankaracharya stated that during this current transitional period, atrocities are on the rise against symbols of Sanatan Dharma-such as Mother Cow and learned Brahmins-as well as against vulnerable Sanatanis standing at the lowest rung of society.
