Ashok RainaShahpur, Oct. 9 -- The district-level Dussehra festival in Shahpur will be celebrated on a grander scale this year, with three cultural evenings planned during the four-day event from October 17 to 20, MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said.
Chairing a preparatory meeting at the ATC auditorium here, Pathania said an anti-drug rally would also be organised during the festival. He directed departments to set up stalls by October 17 to showcase their achievements and innovations.
The festival will open with a grand procession from the Mini Secretariat through Rehlu Chowk, Shahpur Bazaar Service Lane and 39 Mile to the Dussehra Ground. Sports activities, selfie points and a grand entrance gate will also be arranged, wh...
