Kochi, Aug. 17 -- The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Jalish Peter, has alleged that a group of SFI students barged into his office and threatened to kill him if police registered cases against students involved in the previous day's violence on the campus.

According to a complaint filed by Peter, around 15 SFI activists entered his office at about 1 pm on August 14 and issued death threats. The alleged incident took place a day after SFI students reportedly assaulted the Vice-Chancellor and Syndicate members and conducted a symbolic funeral of the Vice-Chancellor.
