Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 28 -- The Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam has sought immediate investigation and appropriate legal action against Sunny M. Kapikkad over allegedly derogatory, blasphemous and sexually offensive remarks concerning Lord Ayyappa and Malikappurathamma, reportedly made at Thunchanparamba in Tirur.
In a complaint submitted to the Director General of Police, Kerala Police, Adv. Jayan Cheruvallil, General Secretary of the Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam, said he was bringing the matter to the attention of the police as a citizen, describing it as an issue of grave public concern involving what he alleged were deliberate and malicious attempts to outrage the religious sentiments of millions of devotees across the State.
