Mumbai, July 13 -- Several women passengers fainted and others complained of suffocation after the air-conditioning system of an AC local train stalled for nearly 15 minutes at platform no. 2 of Mumbai's Mulund railway station here on Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, the AC unit of the train stopped functioning while it was stationary at the platform, leading to a rapid rise in temperature and humidity inside the coaches.
