New Delhi, June 29 -- Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan on Monday administered the oath or affirmation to seven newly elected and re-elected members of the Upper House during a ceremony held in the Rajya Sabha Chamber at Parliament House, formally enabling them to assume their parliamentary responsibilities.
The members who took the oath were Mansingh Meraman Parmar, Tarun Chugh, Alka Singh, Jitendra Meghjibhai Kanzariya, Rajendra Hiralal Jain, M Nagaraja and Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi, according to a statement issued by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
