Imphal, June 16 -- Security forces arrested seven active militants in a series of operations conducted across Imphal West, Imphal East and Bishnupur districts during the last two days, Police said on Tuesday.
In one operation, a woman militant was arrested from her current locality in Imphal West district.
In a separate operation, another militant was apprehended from his residence in Imphal East district.
Security forces also arrested two militants from their respective residences in Imphal West district.
In another operation, an alleged extortionist was arrested from his residence in Imphal East district.
A militant was also apprehended from the Yaripok Lamlai crossing area under Andro Police Station in Imphal East district.
