Itanagar, Oct. 18 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik on Saturday called for the preservation of the State's indigenous sports and cultural traditions, while encouraging youth to embrace discipline, integrity and community service.
Addressing the State-level Traditional Sports Competition and Nukkad Natak finale of the month-long Seva Sankalp Utsav at Dera Natung Government College ground here, the Governor said traditional sports reflected the courage, agility and endurance of the state's ancestors and formed an important part of its cultural heritage.
