Dubai, July 21 -- A series sweep over Ireland has helped a group of white-ball stars from the West Indies make eye-caching progress on the latest ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings.
The Caribbean side registered an impressive 3-0 series result in Ireland as part of the ongoing ICC Women's Championship, with skipper Hayley Matthews once again leading the way with both bat and ball as she was adjudged Player of the Series.
Matthews contributed a series best 265 runs across the three matches and chipped in with seven valuable wickets to further cement her place inside the top 10 in all three ODI rankings categories, while teammates Stafanie Taylor, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher and Deandra Dottin also made gains.
