Gaza City, Nov. 5 -- A senior Hamas official said on Tuesday that terror group has reached an agreement with the Palestinian Authority (PA) to form a temporary committee which will oversee the post-war governance of the Gaza Strip on behalf of the PA.
Moussa Abu Marzouk, a senior member of Hamas's political wing, told Qatari channel Al Jazeera that the proposed committee will be responsible for overseeing border crossings, and managing the security forces in the war-torn enclave, adding that this committee will be headed by a PA official, though did not comment on who authorised this arrangement.
