Hyderabad, May 8 -- Self-reliance in defence manufacturing is essential for ensuring India's long-term strategic and economic security, said Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FTCCI) President R Ravi Kumar here on Friday.
Speaking at the MSME SPARK 3.0 conference organised by FTCCI in association with the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana here, Ravi Kumar said the annual MSME SPARK initiative was aimed at strengthening MSMEs in areas such as finance, marketing, packaging, e-commerce, digitalisation, and technology adoption, with this year's third edition focusing exclusively on aerospace and defence manufacturing.
