Agartala, July 17 -- Tripura has finalised all arrangements for the launch of Census 2027, which will represent India's inaugural fully digital population census, said Director of Census Operations for Tripura Ratan Biswas.
The initiative is being executed by the Government of Tripura in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India. The timeline emphasised the key features of the digital census.
He also urged citizens to take part in the self-enumeration phase, which commenced on Friday and will run until July 31, 2026.
