Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 26 -- The first edition of Kerala Tourism's Seethathode Kayaking Festival will be held on September 2 at Seethathode, adding one more event on the adventure tourism calendar of the state.
The event is organised by Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS) under the state Tourism Department. Technical support for the event is provided by the Kerala Kayaking Society and Canoeing Association.
The event offers prize money totalling Rs. 3.45 lakhs for competitions in various categories.
The competitions will be held in Moozhiyar river, starting at 10 am near Seethathode Fire Station at Konni in Pathanamthitta district.
