Hyderabad, June 18 -- Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), on Thursday held a telephonic conversation with Jharkhand Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Deepika Pandey Singh to discuss concerns surrounding the proposed VB-G RAM G scheme, which the Central Government plans to implement from July 1.

During the discussion, the two ministers expressed concern over the potential impact of the scheme on rural poor families, labourers and beneficiaries dependent on the employment guarantee programme. They noted that several provisions of the proposed scheme could adversely affect livelihoods and employment opportunities in rural areas.
