Darbhanga, Oct. 17 -- A flag march was conducted in Darbhanga district under the joint leadership of District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Jagunath Reddy Jalareddy to maintain peace and law and order during Durga Puja and ensure the safety of devotees.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made at around 450 locations across the district. Drone cameras and CCTV systems will be used to monitor puja pandals and sensitive areas.
The flag march began at the Police Lines and passed through several major routes in the city, including Lohia Chowk, Neem Chowk, Darbhanga Tower, Kadirabad Market Committee, Delhi Mor, Bagh Mor, the railway station, Donar Chowk, Allalpatti and Benta.
