Imphal, Sept. 5 -- Manipur Police and Security Forces carried out a series of successful operations across different districts of the state yesterday, recovering arms, explosives and narcotics while arresting 13 individuals, including active cadres of proscribed outfits and drug traffickers.
A massive arms recovery was made from Heingang Ching and its adjoining areas under Heingang Police Station, Imphal East district.
The recovered items included one AK-56 rifle with magazine, one M16 rifle with magazine, three hand grenades, five tube launchers, one BP jacket with two plates, one RPG shell, 10 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition and 10 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.
