Jammu, Nov. 6 -- Security Forces on Thursday launched a massive search operation to hunt down terrorists in the woods of Chatroo in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, a day after a gunfight broke out between security forces and terrorists in the area.

"The joint team of Army, police and special operation group have launched a massive search operation in the Chatroo area to hunt down the terrorists," said a senior police officer.

He said that on Wednesday, terrorists fired at the search party, which was retaliated and an encounter started.

"So far no contact has been established but the searches are in progress," he said.

However, one Agniveer has sustained injuries in the firing.
