Imphal, June 29 -- Security forces and Manipur Police carried out a series of successful operations across the state on June 27, leading to the arrest of four militants belonging to different insurgent outfits, the seizure of a cache of arms and ammunition, and the recovery of suspected heroin worth several lakhs of rupees in the illicit market, Manipur Police said on Monday.

In one operation, security forces apprehended two alleged militants from separate locations.
