Belfast, June 28 -- Rain interrupted India's chase in the second T20 International against Ireland after the visitors stumbled to 54 for four in eight overs at the Civil Service Cricket Club here on Sunday.
Earlier, Ireland posted a competitive 154 for eight in their 20 overs, built around a composed 53 off 47 balls by Harry Tector. Benjamin Calitz provided the late impetus with a brisk 37 off 23 deliveries, while George Dockrell chipped in with 19 from 14 balls.
Ireland made an aggressive start through Ross Adair, who smashed 16 off just seven balls with two sixes, before Harshit Rana removed Tim Tector for five and Arshdeep Singh dismissed Adair to leave the hosts at 21 for two.
