Shimla, May 20 -- In a major crackdown against drug trafficking, the Nurpur Police in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday demolished an illegally constructed house belonging to a narcotics accused, stating that the property had allegedly been built on government land using proceeds from heroin smuggling.
According to Nurpur police district Superintendent of Police (SP) Kulbhushan Verma, the action was taken in connection with FIR registered at Nurpur Police Station against Bunty, son of Ravi Kumar, a resident of Bhol village in Jawali tehsil.
