Raipur, Sept. 4 -- South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) achieved a historic milestone in August by dispatching 1,401 rakes of coal, marking a growth of 34.45 per cent over the same month last year, when 1,042 rakes were moved.
The company's flagship mega projects played a central role in the achievement, with Gevra contributing 268 rakes, Dipka 202, and Kusmunda 271. The Raigarh area also made a significant mark, dispatching 248 rakes of coal to thermal power plants across the country, a company release said.
