Shimla, March 2 -- State Election Commission has issued notification for delimitation of wards in five urban local bodies following directions of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
SEC Commissioner Anil Khachi has released the programme for ward delimitation after the state government issued final notifications in compliance with court orders.
The High Court had set aside earlier notifications relating to certain urban bodies and directed the government to reconsider objections filed by petitioners and pass reasoned and speaking orders after providing an opportunity of personal hearing .
