New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- The national capital is recording a surge in seasonal flu cases, with swine flu emerging as the dominant strain this year, yet the Delhi government on Tuesday urged citizens not to panic and to remain vigilant.
Addressing the media, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said, "There is no need for panic; continued vigilance is essential."The minister directed officials to maintain adequate hospital preparedness, including medicines, testing facilities and other essential logistics, while strengthening surveillance and timely reporting.
