Thiruvananthapuram, March 3 -- In an extraordinary display of devotion, Kerala's capital city witnessed an overwhelming surge of faith on Tuesday as nearly 30 lakh women devotees assembled across a 10-kilometre stretch to offer the sacred Pongala to Attukal Devi.

Revered as the 'Sabarimala of Women,' the Attukal Devi temple once again became the epicentre of one of the largest gatherings of women in the world, cutting across distinctions of caste, creed, and religion.
