Hyderabad, April 13 -- South Central Railways (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday reviewed safety preparedness across the South Central Railway (SCR) zone in view of the ensuing summer season and directed officials to take proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted train operations.
The review meeting was held at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, and attended by Additional General Manager Satya Prakash, Principal Heads of Departments, and Divisional Railway Managers of Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions through video conference.
Srivastava emphasised the need to intensify the use of rail thermometers and strengthen track infrastructure to withstand extreme heat conditions.
