Visakhapatnam, June 5 -- South Coast Railway (SCoR) General Manager Sandeep Mathur today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Visakhapatnam-Ichchapuram section during his first field inspection since assuming charge as General Manager of the zone.
The inspection focused on the progress of infrastructure development projects, passenger amenities, safety measures and operational efficiency across key railway stations in the section.
The visit commenced at Simhachalam Railway Station, where Mathur reviewed works being undertaken under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
He examined various projects aimed at upgrading station infrastructure and enhancing passenger facilities.
