Ballari, March 31 -- As India's women's kabaddi probables continue their high-performance camp at the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) here, experienced allrounder Sonali Shingate has underscored the growing emphasis on scientific training and recovery as key drivers of performance ahead of the Asian Games.
A member of India's gold-medal-winning squad at the 2025 Kabaddi World Cup 2025 in Dhaka and the silver-winning team at the 2018 Asian Games 2018, Shingate said the structured approach being followed at the camp marks a positive shift for the sport.
The camp is being organised by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) in collaboration with Mashal Sports.
