Dharamshala, June 27 -- Environmental and climate-related challenges can be effectively addressed through a scientific approach, knowledge sharing and active community participation, said Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa.
Speaking at the inauguration of Him-CARE Plus (Himalayan Climate Adaptation and Resilience Education), a month-long national training and internship programme on Himalayan water, climate and disaster management, on Thursday, Bairwa stressed the need for collaboration among researchers, experts and local communities to develop solutions suited to local conditions.
