Raipur, Oct. 27 -- Schools in several districts of south Chhattisgarh's Bastar division will remain closed on October 28th as authorities prepare for heavy rain and strong winds forecast in connection with Cyclone Arnab. Rain and stronger-than-usual winds have already begun affecting parts of the region, with heavier rainfall expected late Tuesday night.
Narayanpur district administration has ordered all government, private, and aided schools to remain closed on October 28. In Bastar district, schools will remain shut on the same day. Dantewada and Kondagaon district administrations have also announced one-day closures.
