BaghpatFarrukhabad, Jan. 14 -- A mini bus of Shriram Inter College, Baraut, overturned after being hit by a speeding canter vehicle on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway near Sarurpur village on Wednesday morning, triggering panic and injuring eight students onboard the college bus.
The canter driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the spot.
The bus was on its way to the school carrying students when, around 8 AM, it was struck from behind near the Canara Bank branch in Sarurpur Kalan. The impact dragged the bus nearly 100 metres before it overturned. Local villagers rushed to the scene and helped rescue the children.
