New Delhi, Sept. 27 -- Vodafone Idea Ltd has moved the Supreme Court challenging a fresh adjusted gross revenue (AGR) demand of Rs 9,450 crore raised by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), contending that a substantial portion of the dues pertains to the pre-FY17 period already settled by the Court's March 2020 ruling.

A Bench comprising Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai, Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Justice N.V. Anjaria, deferred hearing the petition after Solicitor General Tushar Mehta requested that the matter be taken up after the Dussehra vacation.

The case will now be heard on October 6.
