Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Aug. 6 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to grant interim bail on medical grounds to self-styled godman and rape convict Asaram alias Ashumal, while permitting him to avail the services of a trained caretaker of his choice on a round-the-clock basis in jail.

The Court, however, clarified that he would be at liberty to approach it again for interim bail if his medical condition deteriorates.
