Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Sept. 8 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked the Central government to consider setting up an expert body, such as a National Legal Education Commission, to examine issues concerning legal education in the country, including the curriculum, syllabus and duration of law courses.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana made the suggestion while dealing with a PIL by advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay seeking a comprehensive review of the existing legal education system.
