Pune, April 30 -- The hearing in the defamation case filed against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for alleged derogatory statements against Indian Independence revolutionary Veer Savarkar continued before the Special MP/MLA Court here.
The complaint has been filed by Satyaki Savarkar, the grandson of Swatantryaveer Savarkar and pertains to remarks allegedly made by Rahul Gandhi in London during a visit in March 2023.
During proceedings, Advocate Milind Dattatray Pawar, appearing on behalf of Rahul Gandhi, conducted the cross-examination of Satyaki Savarkar in the court presided by Judge Amol Shinde.
