Dhar (MP), Jan. 20 -- A routine satyagraha, organised today at the historical Bhojshala here, witnessed a crowd numbering hundreds as the festival of Basant Panchami is approaching.
Besides a fire ritual, worship and recital of Sunderkand, cries of 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Ma Vagdevi ki Jai' rent the air. A picture of Vagdevi was placed in the sanctum sanctorum and the Hanuman Chalisa recited in addition to devotional music.
Among those who took part in the satyagraha, which is conducted within the sanctum sanctorum every Tuesday since 2003, were Krishna Gopal Das Maharaj from Dewas, Balai Samaj Sangh President Manoj Parmar and Bharatiya Janata Party District President Neelesh Bharti.
