Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 24 -- Satnam Singh and Salman Khan etched their names in Indian rowing history, powering the country to its maiden Asian Games medal in the men's double sculls with a hard-fought bronze here on Thursday.
The Indian pair clocked 6:13.25 in a fiercely contested final, staying in medal contention throughout before being edged into third place in the closing stages.
China's Yi Xudi and Yide Nie claimed gold in 6:09.77, while Uzbekistan's Pavel Sorin and Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov took silver in 6:10.49.
