Chennai, Feb. 25 -- Beginning her second stint in her political journey after the earlier one was short lived following her conviction in a DA case, VK Sasikla, expelled AIADMK leader and close aide of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, has announced launching of a new political party ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls, marking her active return to politics after a gap of nine years.

After repeatedly asserting that she would be making all efforts to make the AIADMK a united force, that saw several unpleasant developments over the years, and her attempts having failed, she has started her second political journey by announcing that she would launch a political party on her own, the name of which would be announced soon.
