Dhanbad, April 3 -- Janata Dal (United) MLA Saryu Roy on Friday said a government in Jharkhand could be formed without the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, offering "unconditional support" to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in such a scenario.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to a subsidence-hit area in Dhanbad, Roy said, "If Hemant Soren wants, a government can be formed without the BJP and Congress. Some of us are ready to extend unconditional support."He also indicated that the required majority could be achieved and said he had conveyed the possible numbers to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leadership.
