Ranchi, April 16 -- Saranda anti-Maoist operation continued on Thursday as two CRPF personnel injured in an encounter were airlifted from Ranchi to New Delhi for advanced treatment, officials said.
Inspector Satya Prakash and Shailesh Kumar Dubey of the CoBRA battalion were referred to AIIMS after sustaining injuries during an exchange of fire with Maoists in the Saranda forest on Wednesday.
Ranchi traffic police created a green corridor to facilitate swift movement of the injured from hospital to the airport. Officials said the transit was completed within five minutes.
