Mumbai, July 20 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Maharashtra chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Monday attacked Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, saying that his alleged attempts to provoke the country's youth and create unrest would never succeed.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, Ban said that patriotic youth across the country stand firmly behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Referring to the protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, he said the police had acted in accordance with court directives.
