Lucknow, Aug. 28 -- Uttar Pradesh fisheries minister and NISHAD Party chief Sanjay Nishad today met Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, sparking fresh political speculation amid tensions within the BJP-NISHAD party alliance.
Significantly, Nishad arrived at the residence of the Dy.CM in his personal car instead of the government vehicle. The meeting comes a day after he warned BJP of consequences, after which many political meanings are being drawn from this meeting.
Nishad, however, appeared in a reconciliatory mood during the meeting. "We faced the fake PDA like a rock and deflated them. But there are some imported leaders who are deflating the BJP and they are reaping the benefits," he told reporters after his meeting with Brajesh Pathak.
