Hyderabad, June 26 -- The Telangana Government on Friday appointed senior IAS officer Sanjay Jaju (1992 batch) as the new Chief Secretary to the Government, while outgoing Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao (1991 batch) was appointed as Advisor and Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister upon his retirement on June 30.
According to separate Government Orders issued by the General Administration (Special-A) Department, Sanjay Jaju will succeed Ramakrishna Rao, who is scheduled to retire from service on June 30.
Sanjay's appointment will take effect following Rao's superannuation.
