Mumbai, April 23 -- Sanju Samson delivered a defining performance with a commanding unbeaten 101 as Chennai Super Kings piled up 207 for six and then crushed Mumbai Indians by 103 runs in their Indian Premier League clash at the Wankhede Stadium here tonight.

Samson's 54-ball knock, studded with 10 fours and six sixes, stood at the heart of the contest. He paced the innings to perfection - steady early, fluent through the middle, and explosive at the death - bringing up his century with a pull to the deep square leg fence in the final over.
