Patna, July 19 -- Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated Bihar's first river interlinking project at Sheohar on Sunday. Built at a cost of Rs 130.88 crore, the Belwa-Minapur Link Channel is expected to provide significant relief to Sheohar and other flood-prone areas of the region.
The link channel is expected to strengthen the region's drainage system and provide a major boost to flood management and agricultural development. It is being regarded as one of the district's most significant development projects.
