Patna, Sept. 21 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday extended greetings to the people on World Peace Day and called upon them to pledge to promote peace and harmony through love, mutual respect, brotherhood and cooperation.
In a message posted on social media platform 'X', Choudhary said, "Heartiest greetings to everyone on the occasion of World Peace Day."He urged people to resolve to strengthen peace and harmony through love, goodwill, brotherhood and mutual cooperation.
The International Day of Peace was decided by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981, with the first observance held in September 1982.
