Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, on Wednesday welcomed the Bombay High Court's decision to hand over the investigation into his daughter's death to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), saying he had never lost hope that the truth would eventually emerge.
Speaking after the court order, Satish said his family had been fighting for justice for nearly six years and that he had remained firm on his demand for registration of an FIR.
"I have 100 per cent hope, always. Whatever the truth is, it will come out," he said.
Recalling his prolonged legal battle, Satish said he had earlier vowed that he would not shed tears until an FIR was registered.
