Shimla, June 10 -- The Himachal Pradesh Government on Wednesday withdrew the deferment of salaries of Ministers, Members of the Council of Ministers, the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and Members of the Legislative Assembly, while continuing the Chief Minister's voluntary 50 per cent salary deferment until further orders.

In a notification issued by the General Administration Department (Parliamentary Affairs), Governor Kavinder Gupta has partially modified the earlier notification dated April 18, 2026, under powers conferred by Articles 162 and 166 of the Constitution of India.
