Hyderabad, June 14 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Sunday proposed that a meeting of the State Cabinet be held at the Salar Jung Museum to showcase its heritage value and significance to a wider audience.
The Governor who is also Chairman of the Salar Jung Museum Board, made the proposal in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, after inaugurating the week-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the museum and the birth anniversary commemoration of Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III, whose priceless collection of art and artefacts are an enduring heritage.
The celebrations are being held from June 14 to 21.
