Srinagar, July 31 -- Peoples Conference (PC) president and MLA Sajjad Lone on Friday launched a sharp counterattack against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a day after the party accused him of threatening and intimidating its leaders by claiming the backing of central agencies and sought union Home Minister Amit Shah's intervention.
Addressing a press conference, Lone rejected the allegations and accused the PDP of repeatedly attributing political developments in Kashmir to central agencies, saying such claims were damaging the region's political system.
