Srinagar, March 17 -- Peoples Conference president and Handwara MLA Sajad Lone on Tuesday alleged a structural imbalance against Kashmir in the recent JKAS and allied services results, highlighting that only one candidate from the Valley was selected under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
Questioning the criteria used to define economic vulnerability, Lone argued that key indicators such as beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Priority Households are not factored into determining EWS status for recruitment and admissions.
